My paintings are meant to evoke not only the tranquility and exhilaration that I experience when I’m immersed in a scene, but also a sense of that scene’s increasing fragility.  My intention is to bring this combination of pleasure and protectiveness into the rooms in which the paintings hang. In Colorado’s Roaring Fork Valley, where most of the paintings began.
